Have you noticed you have dark underarms even though you had shaved them? For most people, this is an annoying cosmetic issue. It can be a result of shaving, regular use of hair removing creams, excessive sweating, poor underarm ventilation, an accumulation of dead skin cells, or the use of alcohol-based deodorants and antiperspirants.
With summer around the corner, you’re going to be baring a lot more skin, and you would rather not have this problematic issue. But, don’t worry, dark underarms aren’t something you have to “live with”, as there are many natural ways to get rid of this issue. Today we’ll give you five of them you can try out.
- Potatoes
Cut a thin slice of potato and rub it on your underarms. You can also grate the potato and apply its juice to those dark areas.
After this, allow your arms to dry for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with lukewarm water. It’s recommended you do this twice a day and allow the potatoes bleaching properties work their magic, without the irritation. You can do this with cucumbers as well.
