According to many twitter users, a police corporal this afternoon at Lekki toll gate beat up a driver for scratching his car. According to the eye witnesses the scratch was so little and the way and manner the driver was beaten by the officer was uncalled for. He even broke his head, one of them said in a tweet. The driver was later given a first aid treatment by some of those who witnessed it, while a soldier who was also at the scene had to appeal to the police officer who was in mufti to temper justice with mercy.
