A 26-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Miracle Francis has been stabbed to death in the asylum-seeker reception center at Mineo near Catania, Italy.
According to reports, she was stabbed in the neck on Tuesday, after a row with her partner, Bill Francis, a fellow asylum seeker. The woman had been at the center since December 2016.

Bill, said on his arrival in Italy, that he was a 30-year-old from Mali. He had returned to the center to try to persuade Miracle to come to live with him with her children.
