In any restaurant, customers have the right to complain about their meals or their server’s attitude, even infamous chef Gordon Ramsay tells his competitors in ‘Ramsay’s Best Restaurant’ the same thing.
That’s exactly what Lin, a 29-year-old woman had done when she dined at the ‘Mr Hot Pot’ restaurant in Wenzhou, eastern China.
When Lin had complained to 17-year-old waiter about his poor service, the waiter, surnamed Zhu, didn’t take it too well and came back with a pot of boiling water which he poured all over Lin’s face and body.
He then dragged her to the ground and began beating and kicking her, while two other ladies immediately came to the rescue by pulling him away from the victim.
It was believed that Lin had shared remarks about the waiter’s rude attitude on a social networking site, referencing one of the restaurant’s manager which resulted to the storming young server taking revenge.
The woman was rushed to the emergency unit and has received extensive treatment to her skin, which has already started peeling in large sections, while police have arrested Zhu who has admitted to his crime.
